Essentially the Novel Corona virus is new to humans but corona virus upper respiratory infections have been in existence for centuries. So, what's new about this one? Well, this virus is one that humans have not seen before and many of us do not have antibodies to fight this like we would a "common cold". While many of us will get the virus and get better, just like we would a "cold" those of us in the high risk groups over age 60 or have underlying health issues need be vigilante in our precautions.
